Description
The Old Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house constructed of brick and slate. It features a symmetrical front facing north, with two storeys and three windows. The roof is hipped and low-pitched, with brick dentil eaves. The front wall is made of painted brick in Flemish bond, with end pilasters set in from the corners, stone wedge lintels, and a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals. The plain door opening has a stone moulded canopy supported by brackets, a fanlight, and a four-panelled door. The other elevations are made of flint, accented with brick quoins and bands at the lintel and cill levels.
