Description
Patches is a cottage that dates back to 1731 and was formerly two separate dwellings. It is attached to Willow Cottage and features a rendered exterior with a thatched roof. The building has one storey and an attic, with three windows. The roof is half-hipped at the east end and connects at a lower level to the roof of Willow Cottage on the west end, with eaves raised above the upper windows. The walls are mostly plastered and painted, with a section of flint on the west side. There are brick jambs surrounding a filled doorway, and the east side has been converted into a garage within a short flat-roofed projection. The windows are casements, and there is a hood over a plain doorway. The interior of the cottage is dated.
