Description
White Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a painted render exterior and a hipped thatched roof, with a tiled extension. The building has a simple rectangular plan, including a small extension to the west and southeast. It is one storey high with an attic, and has an off-centre chimney on the east ridge, as well as an end chimney on the east side. The south elevation includes one glazing bar sash window with an exposed box frame to the left, a three-light casement window in the small extension to the right, and a two-light casement window in the dormer above. There is a central boarded door beneath a latticed timber porch, along with a 20th-century door in the small extension to the left.
