Description

Moss Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations and an addition from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is timber-framed and roughcast rendered, topped with a thatched roof that is half hipped to the right. The cottage has one storey and an attic, forming an L-shape. There is a ridge stack to the right of the centre and a stack at the junction with the rear wing. The main entrance, located in a lean-to porch at the south angle with the 19th-century extension, features a boarded door to the left of centre, along with three ground floor windows of various sizes that have glazing bars. The 19th-century panelled door is also part of the entrance.
