Description

The Hut is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, constructed of flint and thatch. It has one storey and an attic, with one window above two others, and features a 20th-century outshot at the north end. The roof is half-hipped, with exposed framing in the gable and an eyebrow dormer. The flint walls have brick dressings that suggest extensions on the north side. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door set in a plain frame, accompanied by an open porch that has a gabled slate roof supported by posts.
