Description

Ivy Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century, with 20th-century extensions. It is constructed of flint and brick, topped with a tiled roof. The symmetrical front, facing east, features two storeys and three windows, with the central window being blank. The roof is plain, and the walls display horizontal bands of coursed knapped flint, complemented by brick quoins, bands, and cambered arches. The windows are casements with upper leaded lights. The entrance is a boarded door set in a plain frame, sheltered by a 20th-century trellis porch. At the north end, there is a dormer above a garage entrance, added in 1983, along with extensions at the rear.
