Description
Park Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with an early 19th-century extension. It is constructed of flint and brick, topped with a tiled roof. The front, facing southeast, is symmetrical with two storeys and originally featured three windows. The early 19th-century extension on the south side is a wider single bay that matches the original style. The exterior includes thin horizontal bands of coursed knapped flint, brick quoins, cambered upper openings, and rubbed flat arches at the ground floor, with a projecting band at the first floor. The windows are casements, and the entrance features a six-panelled door (two of which are glazed) in a plain frame, topped with a simple hood supported by carved brackets. Inside, there are old doors and an 18th-century staircase with decorated slatted rails.
