Description

Bridle Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and flint, with render and thatch. The symmetrical front, facing east, belongs to the older part of the house and features two storeys with two windows. There is an extension on the north side that has two windows, and an outshot to the south. The roof is whipped on the north side, meeting the lower tile roof of the extension, while it is hipped on the south side and has low eaves above the outshot. The main wall consists of flint panels with brick quoins, bands, and cambered openings on the ground floor. The extension is rendered, and the outshot is boarded in the upper part. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door.
