Description
Averingdown Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings on the ground floor and a brick upper storey, topped with an old tile roof and featuring brick chimneys. The building is L-shaped with a single-storey extension at the rear angle. It has two storeys and an attic, with two bays on the front. There is a brick band course at the first floor level and offset eaves. The windows are three-light barred wooden casements, and the central entrance features a six-panelled door that is top-lit, with a small gabled hood and a blind panel above. The ground floor openings have segmental arches made of header brick, and there is an old board door at the rear.
