Description
The outbuildings immediately west of Averingdown Farmhouse are stables and a cartshed dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and weatherboard, sitting on a brick plinth, and feature 20th-century tile roofs with raking vents. The lower range includes two stable doors and three slatted windows facing the yard, along with a small lean-to in front of the left bay. At the right end, there is a taller three-bay cartshed that has a 20th-century lean-to with a corrugated asbestos roof and a 20th-century door, along with open cart bays at the rear. These buildings are included for their group value.
