Description

The Red Lion is a public house located in Bradenham Village, dating from the late 18th century with some alterations. The building is constructed of colourwashed flint and brick, topped with a 20th-century hipped tile roof and features brick chimneys. It has two storeys and three bays. The windows are 20th-century paired barred wooden casements, with the lower right windows having segmental heads. There is a single light window on the first floor between the right bays, positioned above a blocked doorway. A 20th-century porch with double doors is angled across the front left corner. To the right, there is a single-storey extension, likely originally outbuildings, which was largely rebuilt around 1970. This extension is made of brick with a flint plinth, has a 20th-century tile roof, three bays of similar casements, and a 20th-century door to the right. The left end of the building features a canted bay window.
