Description

Nos. 12 and 13 are a pair of cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from flint with brick dressings and feature a tiled roof, along with two intermediate brick chimneys that have offset tops. The cottages are symmetrical, consisting of one storey and an attic, and have four bays. The windows are cast iron casements with diamond latticing, while the three-light windows in the central bays have chamfered brick surrounds and shallow pointed relieving arches. There are four gabled eaves-line dormers, each with paired casements. The outer bays have board doors that also feature pointed arches and chamfered surrounds. These cottages are included for their group value.
