Description

Jasmine Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was re-clad in the late 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and timber framing, with a thatched roof. The cottage is attached to the north side of Purton Cottage, forming an L-shaped block. The roof is half-hipped, with a catslide at the rear and an eyebrow dormer, tiled where it meets Purton Cottage. The original timber frame is partly exposed inside and in the north gable; the remainder of the walls are brick, with some cambered openings. The windows are casements. There is a half-glazed door within an old frame, and a filled doorway at the north end.
