Description

Purton Cottage is a small house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and tile and has a rectangular shape, positioned at right angles to the roadway and set back from it. The building has two storeys and features one window. The hipped roof is adorned with brick dentil eaves. The red brickwork is laid in header bond, with the ground floor showcasing rubbed flat arches with stone keys above the two openings, and a cement plinth at the base. The side and rear walls are decorated with horizontal flint panels. The windows are casements, and there is a half-glazed door.
