Description

Pear Tree Cottage is a late 18th-century house and former shop. It is constructed of brick in a header bond pattern, now painted, with a tiled roof and brick dentil eaves. The building has two storeys and originally had three windows, though the upper centre window has now been filled in. The north side features a bow window with five rows of eleven small panes. A plinth runs along the base of the walls, and the windows are sash windows with rubbed flat arches. The two original doorways, one leading to the house and one to the shop, are now filled in.
