Description
Medlands Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, with 20th-century extensions. It is constructed of flint and brick, topped with a slate roof. The front, which faces southeast, is symmetrical and features two storeys with two windows. The flint walls are accented with brick quoins, bands, and cambered openings on the ground floor, although the central doorway is now filled in. The windows are sash style. The northeast elevation has been altered and lacks openings. The northwest elevation, which is the current front, is similar to the southeast side but includes a 20th-century brick extension on the west side, a blocked doorway, casement windows (one of which has an old frame), and a plain doorway with a 20th-century canopy.
