Description

Time Cottage and Time House are two houses with origins from the 17th century or earlier, largely rebuilt in the 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. The buildings are mainly timber framed, with some clay lump, and are all plastered. They have a slated roof and are two storeys tall. The design is symmetrical, featuring flanking cross-wings that are set slightly forward. There are four windows with 19th-century small-paned casements, each with small hoodmoulds. In the center, there are two adjacent doorways with four-panel doors, which are covered by a common small hood and approached by two steps. Two stacks are symmetrically placed in the central range. The buildings are included for their group value.
