Description

49 Low Street is a mid-19th century house located on the north side of Low Street in Hoxne. The building is constructed of red brick and features a roof made of glazed black pantiles, with shaped parapet gables. It has two storeys and three windows, which are originally small casements, except for one standard window from the mid-20th century on the left. The windows are topped with wedge lintels. The front of the house has a plank door, while the south gable end includes a four-panel door and two later windows. There is an internal stack. This house occupies a prominent position within the Conservation Area and is included for its group value.
