Pilgrim Cottage, located at No.55, No.56, and No.57 on Hoxne Low Street, is a Grade II listed building originally constructed as one house in the 16th century. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure, with some remnants of old plaster panels, and is topped with a slated roof. The building has two storeys and includes casement windows; No.57 has 3-light windows dating from the 19th century, while No.55 and No.56 have mid-20th century standard windows with small panes. Notably, No.56 has a large 19th-century gabled porch with a studded plank door designed in the style of the 16th century. No.55 has a mid-20th century door, and the ground floor of No.57 is set slightly forward under a lean-to roof, featuring a boarded entrance door. There is an internal stack, with the shaft having been rebuilt in the mid-20th century. The interiors have not been examined.
