Description

Wayside Cottage and September Cottage are two houses dating from the 17th century, with alterations made later. The central part of the buildings is constructed from whitewashed brick and features timber framing on the upper storey, while the outer bays are made of flint with brick dressings. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles, and there are brick chimneys flanking the central bays. The houses are two storeys high and consist of four bays. The ground floor has six 20th-century leaded casement windows, with two and three lights. There are also 20th-century board doors to the left and to the left of the third bay.
