Description

Corner Cottage is a house that was originally built as a pair of cottages in the late 17th century. It features a timber frame with roughcast walls and a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and attics, with two windows on the upper floor that are original three-light leaded casements, while the lower floor has 19th-century leaded replacements. There are doors at each end, each with early 20th-century gabled wood porches. To the right, there is a single-storey outbuilding from the 17th to 18th century, which has a hipped pantile roof. At the rear left, there is a 19th-century lean-to addition with a plain tile roof.

Inside, there is a central inglenook with a staircase attached at the rear, and exposed chamfered floor beams.
