Description

The clock tower and war memorial in Hinxworth, dating from around 1919, was bequeathed to the parish by Major A. Vincent Clutterbuck, who died on 31 October 1916. It features a tall, canted square structure topped with a plain tile pyramid roof. The clock faces are located on two front sides, and below them are louvred belfry openings. Above the central plank door, there is a cross and a stone inscription. On the flanking sides, stone plaques commemorate the fallen of the First World War.
