Description

Merrick Cottage is a house that was originally a pair of cottages, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a pebbledash render finish. The roof is made of clay tiles. The building has a four-room layout and is one storey high with attics. There are two front doorways that have been blocked, with the entrance now located at the rear. The ground floor features four windows, and there are four gabled dormers, all of which have 20th-century replacement casements. A red brick ridge stack is positioned at the center of the roof.
