Description
Lynn Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with later additions from the 19th century. The original section is timber framed and has pebbledash render, while a later part is constructed of chequered brick. The building has clay tile roofs and is designed in an L-shape, comprising two storeys. There is a single-storey lean-to addition at the front and a two-storey addition with a hipped roof at the rear. The north elevation of the original block features one three-light and one two-light casement window on the ground floor, along with three three-light casements on the first floor. A red brick multiple ridge stack is present, and the left elevation of the main block retains a substantial external chimney stack, also of red brick, with pebbledash render on the bottom stage.
