Description
Dairy Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 16th century, which was restored in the early 1970s when the rear wing was enlarged. It features a timber frame with plaster and a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys tall, with a former attic that is now disused. The front has a range of three mid-20th century standard small-paned casement windows, along with two small secondary diamond-mullioned windows located below the stack. There are three gabled half-dormers on the roof. An internal stack was added later, and there is a mid-20th century door in the rear wing. Inside, the timber frame is mostly exposed, showcasing arched bracing at the angles and evidence of original diamond-mullioned windows, one of which remains intact. The ground floor rooms have plain joists, and it appears that the original layout was altered with the insertion of the stack.
