Description

This barn, located 20 meters north of Low Farmhouse, dates back to the 16th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, although the north gable is primarily covered with corrugated iron sheeting. The roof is made of black pantiles and features four bays, with a cart entrance located in the second bay from the south. On the west side, there is a lean-to porch. The barn retains an intact frame that includes a middle rail and reversed bracing at the angles. All the arched tie beam braces to the open trusses are still in place, and it has a well-preserved queen-post roof.
