Description
Brown's Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been divided into two dwellings, dating from the late 16th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered, with a half-hipped roof covered in corrugated iron. The building has two storeys and three windows, which are late 19th century metal frame casements with small panes. There are two boarded doors, one internal stack, and an external stack located on the right-hand gable end. The left-hand cottage includes one older square-leaded window at the rear. Although largely concealed, the farmhouse has a good quality frame.
