Description
Waterlane Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 16th and 18th centuries. It has a timber-frame core with brick construction and a thatched roof, although part of the roof is covered with corrugated iron. The building is two storeys high and consists of a two-bay cottage with lower bays that are slightly set back at each end. The central entrance features a six-panel door with a two-light fanlight above it. On either side of the door, there are two-light casement windows, and there is one casement window in each end bay, all of which are set under segmental heads. The roof includes two two-light eyebrow dormers, and there are end stacks with the end bays being half-hipped.
