Description

Higher End Cottage is a 16th-century cottage that was altered in the early 20th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and additional structures, topped with a plain tile roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of three bays. The front of the cottage has a centrally located porch with a pent roof from the 20th century, with a door on the left-hand side and a single casement window. There is also a 2-light casement window, and a large 2-light casement window is situated in a gabled dormer on the roof. The windows are fitted with 20th-century leaded lights. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a ridge stack located to the left of the center.
