Description
Meadowbrook is a cottage that was originally two cottages, dating from the 16th century and altered in the 18th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with brick infill and rebuilding, topped with an old plain tile roof. The building is two stories high and has three bays, with an outshot and a wing at the rear on the right side. The front of the cottage has planked doors beneath open pent roofs and brick wall porches in the center and left bays. There is an 18th-century three-light casement window in the left bay, while the right bay has two 20th-century two-light leaded casements. On the first floor, there is a three-light leaded casement with an eyebrow dormer head in the left bay, and one and two-light casements in the other bays. The roof is half-hipped and features a large central chimney stack.
