Description
Jackson's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, which was raised and re-roofed in the mid 19th century. It features a timber frame with plaster and a slated roof. The building has three storeys and three windows, each with three-light large-pane casements that include a single horizontal glazing bar. The central doorway has a six-panel raised and fielded door, with a moulded architrave that includes corner squares and a flat hood above. On the right gable end, there is a stack with a moulded brick base and the lower parts of four octagonal flues, while the left gable end has a 19th-century stack made of yellow brick. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing.
