Description

Little Wish is a house that dates mainly from the 16th century, although the left-hand parlour cell may have been added in the 17th century. There are various extensions to the rear from the mid-20th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof. It has two storeys and an attic in the left-hand cell, following a three-cell plan. The house features three windows, primarily large pane casements from the 20th century. There is a lobby entrance with a 20th-century gabled porch and a boarded door set into one side wall, along with a rendered internal stack. Inside, you will find exposed timbering, newel stairs (with the attic stairs being original), and some good original doors and floorboarding.
