Description

LOWER BROOK STREET 1. 5379 (West side) No 20 TM 1644 SW 3/106 II GV

  1. The only remaining house of a terrace of 10 early C19 houses which stood at right angles to the street, facing north. A white brick building 2 storeys and attics. The ground storey has channelled rustication and the upper storey has pilasters, surmounted by a pediment. 2 window range on the north front and on the east and south sides, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals. The attics are lit by a small window in the pediment. Raised brick bands extend across the fronts above the 1st storey windows and between the storeys. Roof slate.
