Description

This is an early 19th-century grey gault brick house, originally built as a private residence. It stands three storeys high with a basement, and has a symmetrical three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes, set in plain reveals and topped with gauged brick arches. A central doorway is framed by a wooden doorcase, featuring pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The roof is tiled. The house is part of a group with numbers 19 to 39 on the odd numbers of Lower Brook Street. It also forms a group with numbers 37 and 39 alongside numbers 30A and 32.
