Description

This is an early 19th century grey gault brick house. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes without glazing bars, set in plain reveals. A central six-panel door is set within a wooden doorcase, which features panelled reveals, fluted pilasters, and a cornice hood. Above the door is a rectangular fanlight. The front of the building has end pilasters, and the central section, containing one window and the doorway, projects slightly. The ground floor windows have louvred shutters. The roof is slate and hipped. The building is included on the list for its group value, forming a group with numbers 35 and 2, and with number 16 Bramstons.
