Description

No. 17 Church Street is a house from the late 18th century, built of brick with a painted render rear. It features an attic storey band and has a tiled roof with a brick-coped rear gable and a brick ridge stack. The front range is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window front, consisting of 6/6 sash windows with brick cambered lintels. At the ground floor, there are two windows flanking a doorcase that has simple pilasters, a plain entablature, and a flat corniced canopy. The entrance includes a six-panelled door with a top-light. To the right, there is a boarded door leading to a covered way, set within a brick segmental-arched opening. The interior has not been inspected.
