Description
This building, located at 15 Church Street in Cleobury Mortimer, is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the late 18th century and has an earlier core. The structure is made of red brick, featuring brick storey bands, and has a tiled roof with brick coped gables and brick ridge stacks.
The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window range of 6/6 sash windows, which are topped with cambered brick arches. There is a brick diaper pattern between the windows. The gabled dormer is tiled and contains a 20th-century casement window. The ground-floor shop front has been rebuilt in the 20th century. On the right side, there are two 8/8 sash windows with brick cambered heads, flanking a similar sash window at half-floor level that is now partly obscured by a 19th-century ground-floor lean-to extension. An attic casement window with two lights is also present. The rear of the building has been covered by later extensions. The interior has not been inspected.
