Description
The Post Office is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with raised verges and end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a dentilled eaves cornice. The front has three windows, which are mid-19th century casements with segmental heads. The top centre window is blind and painted to imitate a window, while the lower right window has been replaced with a late 20th-century fixed-light window. There is a central entrance with a six-panel door, where the upper panels are glazed, set beneath a shallow trellised porch that has a pointed finial. To the left, there is a single-storey projection that includes a late 20th-century canted bay window at the front.
