Description

This is a 17th-century house, originally a single dwelling, later divided into two cottages. The house is timber-framed and has been rendered, with a facade featuring widely-spaced mock timbering. The roof is tiled with a mix of red and grey clay pantiles. A substantial chimney stack of Tudor red bricks is located on the left side, and there's an additional external chimney stack on the right gable end. The ground floor has three fixed windows of differing styles. Two gabled dormers are set into the roof, each containing old three-light casement windows with pintle hinges and simple bargeboards. There are two plank doors at the front.
