Description

Northwold is a house dating from the 18th century and early 19th century. It has three storeys, with the top storey being a later addition. The building is constructed of red brick and has a slate roof. It features a paired bracketed cornice and a moulded brick cornice above the second storey. There are five windows, which are small-paned sashes with cased frames, deep reveals, and flat gauged arches. The entrance includes a six-panel door with raised fielded panels, panelled linings, and fluted Greek Doric columns supporting a portico. The portico is topped with an entablature that has triglyphs, and there is a foot-scraper on each side of the portico.
