Description

23 and 25 Double Street is a house from the 17th century that has been divided into two separate residences. It stands two storeys high with attics, featuring a timber-framed structure that is plastered, topped with a plain tiled roof and an internal chimney stack. The upper storey has three small-paned, two-light casement windows, while the ground storey has two similar but deeper windows. Number 23 has an entrance door with four sunk panels. Number 25 features a mid-19th century shop window and a recessed six-panel door, which is adorned with a plain Tuscan-type architrave and a cornice above both.
