Description

This is a house, dating to the 17th century, which has been divided into two separate properties. The building has been altered in later periods. It is constructed with roughcast render over a timber frame, and has a half-hipped clay tile roof. The main two-storey block faces the street, with lower sections projecting from the rear. The ground floor features two early 19th-century canted bay windows, framing a partly-glazed front door. The first floor has three two-light casement windows; the left-hand two retain moulded frames. All windows have glazing bars. The eaves feature a coved and moulded plaster cornice. A red brick chimney stack is located off-centre along the ridge of the roof, and a colourwashed brick external stack is on the left-hand gable end. There are also attic windows in the gable ends.
