Description

The stone known as the Devil's Toenail is a shaped limestone stone, likely the remains of a medieval cross. It features a stump of an octagonal column, which stands approximately half a metre high and has a diameter of 30 cm. The stone has been reset in 20th-century concrete. It is included in the register for its historic interest.
