Description

Lidlington House, originally the Red Lion public house, is a building from the 18th century that has undergone some alterations in the 19th century. It is timber framed with roughcast render, and part of the ground floor has been replaced or covered in colourwashed brick. The building features a 20th-century tile roof and stands two storeys high with a three-room plan. Each floor has three casement windows, each consisting of three lights with glazing bars. There are two plank doors, both accessed by a flight of steps and topped with sloping hoods. The building has red brick integral stacks at both ends and one red brick ridge stack.
