RIDGMONT TL 93NE 6/65 Beckeringspark Farmhouse 22.10.52 - II

House. C17 or earlier, heavily reworked C19. Variety of brick types, mostly red, earlier parts in English bond. C20 tile roofs. Complex plan, main part of 2 storeys and attics, with various one and 2-storeyed additions. S elevation: triple gabled, central gable rather smaller. Outer gables each have 3-light mullion and transom window to ground floor and 2-light mullioned window to first floor and attic. All are C19, under gauged brick flat arches, with the surrounding brickwork reworked. Each outer gable also has ornamental blind bullseye window with raised brick keystone. Central gable has off- centre 2-storeyed gabled porch. Heavily reworked, with rendered coping, 2- light first floor casement, and 4-centred archway with moulded label. Above archway is undated Bedford crest. L of porch is first floor casement. Brick band at first floor level. Outer cross-wings have substantial external chimney stacks to N elevations. N elevation has variety of later lower additions. Single-storeyed outbuilding adjoins to W.
