Description

This is a 17th-century house, now used as two cottages. It is timber-framed with the ground floor weatherboarded and the first floor tile-hung, topped with a plain tiled roof. A central brick stack rises from the ridge of the roof. A tall, gabled dormer is located on the right side. The house is two storeys and has an attic. The front facade has an irregular arrangement of three windows, featuring large 19th-century casement windows. A central, narrow bay projects on both floors, with the roof sloping down over it. The entrance to No. 2 is through a half-glazed door within a lean-to porch on the left side of the projection, while the entrance to No. 3 is at the extreme right, also through a half-glazed door within a lean-to porch.
