Description
No. 1 Saint David's Bridge is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the early 19th century. The building is timber-framed, with a rendered ground floor and weatherboarded first floor and sides. It features a shallow hipped roof covered with plain tiles and stands two storeys tall. The first floor has a regular arrangement of two windows, which are glazing bar sashes. To the right, there is a 19th-century shop front with tall glazing bars and a flanking pilaster strip. A glazing bar sash window is located to the left. The entrance is off-centre to the right, featuring a half-glazed door in a pilastered surround, topped with a painted transom light that has semi-circular paired glazing bars meeting in the centre. There is a plain door at the extreme right.
