Description
The Homestead and Bridge Conachar Bookshop is a house and shop located on Cranbrook Stone Street, featuring an early 19th-century front that is attached to 18th-century buildings. The structure is rendered and sits on a plinth to the left. It has boxed eaves and a plain tiled hipped roof, with three brick stacks positioned behind the ridge. To the right, there is a recessed wing. The building is two storeys tall, with a regular façade on the left side that includes three windows on the first floor and four on the ground floor. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with the two central windows on the ground floor being narrower and flanking a central panelled door that has a moulded surround and a transom light above. The right wing has one window with glazing bar sashes, and there is a glazed door to the left and a boarded door to the right.
