Description
Albert House and Shipmans is a shop that dates back to the 16th century, with later cladding from the 18th century. The building features a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a plain tiled roof. To the right, there is a projecting half-hipped gabled return wing, while the left side has two hipped dormers. The structure is two storeys tall with attics and has a regular three-window front on the left, with one window in the projecting wing on the right. The windows are glazing bar sashes. A large shop window is located to the right under the gable, and there is a 19th-century double shop front with an inset doorway to the left.
