Description

Jean French Shoe Shop is a shop that dates back to the 16th century but was clad in the 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is weatherboarded, with a plain tiled roof and a ridge stack located at the rear. The building has a gable end facing the street and includes a boxed-in jetty beneath the first floor. It stands two storeys high with a garret. On the first floor, there is a small octagonal bay with a casement window above it. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front to the right, which includes a half-glazed door positioned to the left of the center.
